I've just started watching the season of AMC's The Vampire LeStat. I immediately thought how incredible Sam Reid, the actor who plays Lestat, would be as FranknFurter. As much as I love Luke Evans as an actor, he can't come close to Tim Curry. And I understand, as an actor, myself, that every actor that recreates a role brings their own to a role, Tim Curry was so iconic that no one else can touch his performance. And yet, watch Sam Reid singing in his glam rock performances and tell me you can't see him as the sexiest Frankfurter since Tim.
