Last harvest of blueberries?

Last harvest of blueberries?

I can only do container gardening so harvests are pretty limited, but I’m happy with this year’s blueberries. I have one small bush that yielded large, very sweet berries in early June, and a larger plant that yields these smaller berry, but produces a lot more fruit. This is the 4th (and probably last) harvest from that bush.

I also got a medium-sized eggplant, a few sprigs of herbs, and a few Habanada peppers this morning; the herbs and peppers went into a salad.

I previously had a harvest of a couple of medium-sized tomatoes and a beautiful cucumber. I currently have a few more baby cucumbers on the vine, a few more peppers, and a lot of eggplant flowers. Still hoping for more tomatoes too…

Question about Ruccola & Chicory

A few months ago I grabbed a ruccola plant and a chicory plant from the herb section at the home center. I thought they’d make decent “filler” plants to go next to my habanada peppers, and the tags indicated that they can be eaten in salads, etc. But when I tried them, they’re both extremely bitter and unpleasant. Do people actually eat these?? If so, how do you use them?

If there aren’t any good uses for them, I’m thinking of digging them out and trashing them since the peppers are getting bigger anyway.
