I’m about 3 months into the hobby (and ~2.5 months into painting), so still very new to actually building lists.
This is what I currently have painted (see pic).
I’ve been trying to make it work into monster-heavy Tyranids, but I feel like I’m still missing something.
Look at the comments pls for what I’ve been running so far.
My rough thinking so far:
• Scourges + Ravager for anti-monster
• Reavers/Hellions to pressure backline (Biovores etc.)
• Lelith + Wyches mostly for clearing smaller stuff (and honestly because I just like the models)
I’m considering:
• Dropping the Solitaire for a third Kabalite unit
• Switching enhancements to Information Network
• Possibly trying to fit in Drazhar or Talos
One thing I’m struggling with right now is that with a new edition around the corner, it feels a bit risky to fully commit in one direction (Cartel / Skysplinter etc.).
At the same time, I just got into the hobby, painted my first units, and now I’m already looking at potentially benching or replacing parts of the army – which feels a bit rough. Probably just part of the learning process (and maybe not the best early purchase decisions on my side).
Would really appreciate some input on what you’d build from this pool – I’m still figuring things out 🙂
