Hey all, so everyone seems to jumped on the Skysplinter/Recon bandwagon, but what about the minority dispositions, how did they work out for you so far?

As the title suggests I am looking for a bit of help on how to start out with my army list.

I have not played in nearly a decade but decided to get back into the hobby with a faction I've always wanted to get into for mainly painting but thought I'd give it a go with playing them on table top.

So far I have only a box of Kabalite Warriors, Wyches and a Venom.

Beyond getting a HQ, what direction would people recommend and any advice on building a general list for Drukhari?

Haii everyone so basically I LOVE drukhari but I'm not the best at list building and I would really appericate some help with it! At the moment i only have 1.3k pts worth of models.

I have Lelith Hesperax, Lady Malys 20 Kabalite Warriors, 2 Archon, A raider, A ravanger, 5 hellions, 10 incubi, 5 scourges, 10 wyches and a vencom.

This is the the list i came up with! Any notes or ideas for anything? Changing units, what detachment etc! Any help is appericated! And what units to build towards 2k?

I last played at the tail end of 9th, and when I did I had 2 of each, razorwings and voidravens. I'd *like* to get back into 40k, but my biggest question is viability of the jets. I've got a decent core of cult and kabal, but not many coven. Are my beautiful jets destined to be art pieces, or are they going to be able to support my Kabal well?

I keep seeing it more and more in 11th, but to my knowledge, other than it allowing 1 DP detachments to be taken, Im unsure why its seemingly at the top of winning lists. So why now? What changed?

Its especially confusing as it was my favorite detachment pre-codex in 10th.

I got currently 5 Incubi and 10 Hellions and I wondered what to model & paint next. I've always been "Team Incubi" but I look at their stats right now and find them somewhat depressing.

Incubi cost 10 points more, have 1 more AP and strength. While Hellions Have 2 wounds, T4 and twice the movement.

Incubi can be joined by Drazhar/Malys/Archon and you can put them into a transport, but then you look at 350 points of investment for a glass cannon that's easily shot off the board. That's the equivalent of 20 Hellions.

Is there some secret sauce I am missing? Because it seems Incuboys have some appeal in Kabalite Cartel, and Hellions get nothing from Skysplinter Assault. So the case isn't exactly clear cut and dry and I am mostly curious about real experiences here.

I really want gw to make heat lance good and when they went down points, it may be true option. But there is one main problem, one word what we as the best race hate more than everything else, OVERWATCH!

I think that ther is no marine, or astra tank, or other vehicle that do not kill 4 of 5 scourge in overwatch mistakly. And this is only target, where you want to use heat lances and obviously because of their range, you need to come in overwatch distance and show yoursel, whats mean dead 110 point before they do anything.

That is a reason why I think that heat lances are more niche pick than exualy strategy. But I want to know what you think about them?
