Best loadout for scourges?

Best loadout for scourges?

Hi, I want to start with druhkari bc I always loved the aesthetic and had become to love the scourges and incubi models. I wanted to ask what is the best configuration for a squad of scourges.
Also I would really like to use three squads of them, not because I want to meta chase or spam the weapons, mostly I like to play 40k centered in units I enjoy how they look visually and paint/build them experience. So is there a way to build each squad differently to comply in a different way or is there one good way to just run the 3 squads.

Image just to call for attention, not mine

SkaredCast

I took my Drukhari to the warmasters event in Belgium last week.
This is my tournament review ! I took the kabalite cartel recon list. It was over 600 players and one of the toughest events in the world.

I go over my list , then we recap the games I played at the event , 6 rounds - and then go back to the studio and break down any changes I want to make with the list !
It’s a fun way of seeing how to develop a list over time.

Enjoy !

Which weapons should I fit to the Ravager ?

Dear Archons,

I often see Ravagers equipped with disintegrator cannons rather than dark lances.

Is there a reason for this? The number of shots? The random nature of the damage dealt by lances of darkness?

Snow or no snow?

What looks better? Snow or without snow? I like the snow it seems to bring out the dark models more, but im not certain, what do you think?

I used chatgpt to make the snow so I could see what it looks like before I do it

Best unit to proxy Krethusa as?

Such an amazing model and would be a good fit into a vaguely forest themed, paranormal dark eldar army ive got planned

Also open to any cool conversion ideas using this model as a base

Need help explaining Drukhari to my wife

My wife has recently decided to join me in collecting/playing 40K and has chosen Drukhari based purely on the way they look and my brief description of "they're elves that like to torture people"

I don't know enough about either their lore or play style to tell her any more than that so I'm hoping you fine people can.

Cool bits of lore/how they play/tips to beat my Blood Angels would all be greatly appreciated

Did I Win The Narrative Campaign Finale?

No.

Did I kill Ghazghkull Thraka by devastating wounding him to death with my last model? Yes.

Did he fight on death and kill my Archon? Also, yes.

Thus, ends the campaign on Astorax IV.

The short version of the story is Drukhari raids on a planet torn between a burgeoning Ork W'aaagh and the Imperial Defenders.

An impressive tally of Orks was reaped for both the Carrion Lords and Crimson Blades, such that even the Imperial governor was "convinced" to abandon his ally the Salamanders in favour of the Ork hunting Drukhari.

So the Grand Finale™️ was played between a team of Orks, a team of Salamanders and Ultramarine reinforcements and the Drukhari with their compromised Guard thralls.

In typical 40k novel fashion, the Ultramarines and Salamanders won the day, purged the Orks and slew the traitor Guardsmen as the Drukhari limped into the Webway.

Highlights of the game included Archon Mazrekai Yndarion killing a Librarian and the Ork Warlord, as well as Succubus Fhaeren Aro'shar tanking around 30 Ork attacks before beheading that Warboss too.

Drukhari Scourge - 'Eavy Metal Style

Hello everyone!

I am almost 5 months into my painting journey and I think I took a big step forward with these scourage, as I noticed my brush control actually allowed me to paint eyes.

Anyways, I am going for a heavy contrast with edge highlighting on these models because it's easier than volumetric highlighting in my opinion.

I am actually very happy with how they look so please be kind 🤪

I am wondering, how could I further improve the paint job on these models? Is this about as far as edge highlights can go? I put effort into being as neat as I could with my blocking and highlights.

I posted a Lelith on this page a few weeks ago and you guys really helped me improve.

Thanks in advance!

Is disruption any good?

Hi, I've not played any games of 11th yet but agreed to go to a tournament with some friends in october. I was thinking of trying kabalite cartel and the talos detachment, but kept hearing online that disruption is really bad and while I'm certainly not expecting to win, i don't want to throw my games either. Thx

Strategy against heavy armor lists (IG, knights). Kill or ignore?

How does drukhari fare against these types of lists? I know that drukhari is good against infantry but can struggle against mostly tank lists. At the same time the new disposition system means we can mostly focus on scoring and not worry about actually killing the opponents tanks?

Should a drukhari player focus on just tooling on points scoring now with the new dispositions or does running anti tank like multiple ravagers/scourges have merit?

Lady Khromys of the Obsidian Rose

Always wanted to try this paint scheme and thought the Malys model would be a good opportunity. I took inspiration from the Obsidian Rose helmet artwork that appeared in codexes and data cards by using the Archsybarite helmet.

Reaver Jetbikes - Before & After

Didn't get as many details done as I would have liked before needing to stop. Yellow edge highlights got a little heavy handed too. I'll go back and touch those up after progressing through the rest of the army. No before & after for tomorrow, have a game at the LGS.

New Archon - List Help

Hey all! I've been a huge fan of Drukhari for a very very long time. They were actually my first army, and I was a little too new to the hobby to keep up with them but I have been wanting to return for a long while. I saw an insane ebay listing yesterday and jumped on and was wondering if I could get some help building a starter list

Here's what I have:

60 Wyches

3 Succubi

6 Venoms

18 Reaver Jetbikes

2 Raiders (Maybe 3)

1 Archon

Lady Malys

Additionally I have a decent amount of Corsairs but upon reading the rules...I don't think it's even worth listing what I have

I know Incubi and Drazhar are a good inclusion but I was curious if there was anything else. I do still have a lot of my old stuff so I probably also have a decent chunk of Kabalites, but I don't have any covens units. I'm looking to get to 2k points but also any recommendations for a 1k list would be appreciated too!
