This video by @nicmledits9312 is definitely one of my favorite tributes. It's so fairytale-y and underlines the characters. 🙂↕️💜

While googling hallucinations and psychological conditions and phenomenons for a fanfiction, I stumbled over those. Forgive me for copying this directly from Google. Especially the Hyperphantasia reminds me of him constructing the crime scenes in Hannibal's office and the second one is definitely him talking to the dead people in his mind. There is Abigail of course and even Bev for a time..
Google:
*2. Hyperphantasia (Extreme Mind's Eye)
What it is: This is a condition where a person possesses an extraordinarily vivid mental imagination. While most people see faint, blurry shapes when they close their eyes, people with hyperphantasia see thoughts in high-definition, cinematic detail.
The reality: In extreme cases, this imagination can "bleed" into the real world. A person might mentally project a 3D model or a person into an empty room to look at it from different angles, fully aware that they are just using their advanced visual processing to brainstorm or think.
What it is: A psychological concept originally introduced by Carl Jung. It is a method where a person intentionally allows their subconscious mind to create images or characters so they can interact with them.
The reality: People use this as a psychological tool to work through trauma or solve complex problems. The brain takes an abstract emotion (like grief or anxiety) and shapes it into a visual figure. By "talking" to this figure, the person is actually communicating with a hidden part of their own brain to process feelings.*
I didn't even recognize it as a comfort show to me, my sister pointed it out when she asked me about a new show she had recommended to me, but I told her for now I can't start a new show and rewatched Hannibal for the fifth or sixth time.
That's when she brought it up as an unusual choice for a comfort show and I think she is right. Since I know what is going to happen, I can safely live through whatever happens in the show (let alone that it's fictional)...
Beside that I somehow love the strange love story a lot. It's like a beautiful nightmare. Tragic and yet comforting.
This is what Google spit out as an explanation, I shortened it significantly.
- Controlled Fear: Safe scares trigger a calming chemical release.
- Predictable Plots: Known formulas remove real-world stress.
-Fictional Focus: Fighting monsters is easier than facing daily life.
- Perspective: Surviving fictional worst-case scenarios makes your reality feel safer.
- High Control: The stylized, dream-like violence feels more like art than real-world trauma.
- Strict Order: Hannibal's world operates on absolute rules of etiquette and elegance.
- Intense Connection: The deep bond between Will and Hannibal offers strange emotional comfort.
- Gothic Fairy Tale: The beautiful food, classical music, and dark romance create a cozy, hypnotic escape.
I personally also feel this is a world without racism, LGBT hate etc. SA is also only implied.
Would Jack still be the head of the BAU? Or would he be forced to retire? Would he be obsessed with finding the murder husbands or would he believe they are dead? Would the FBI rule them as dead or as missing and wanted?
How would season four Chilton react to an admirer? Someone who sees him as psychological strong and resilient after everything he has been through?
I'm currently in a sad mood and look for a recommendation that keeps Hannigram mostly in character and is beautiful, romantic and bittersweet. No sad ending pls.
I've uploaded 3 chapters so far and from chapter 4 on the religious themed plot will start and I'm getting anxious to lose suddenly half the readers. 🫠
I keep the explanation short: There is basically this popular m/m dark ship and one of these two woke up three years in the past and tries to make everything right and save people etc, but the universe handles him as a mistake or glitch in the matrix and a friend of him sees reality breaking and kills the people he saves.
How do you deal with this anxiety? Do you just stay strong and upload what you have planned in the first place? Or do you ask the readers what they want?
The ones I can think of are
"Origami as foreplay"
"verbal degradation by an internalized demonic entity"
My idea is basically that Mischa is found out to be alive and Hannibal and Will decide to abduct her.
It's supposed to be still a messed up cat and mouse game between Will/Hannibal, including a romantic and sexual relationship.
Psychological dark, but platonic between Mischa and Hannibal.
Yes, a bit specific, but since Hannibal is often called a vampire and the garden scene is really hot, why not ask.
Is there fanfiction out there, especially with the garden scene?
I personally would prefer a female character or genderbent Will, but I'm fine with M/M aka classic Hannigram too.
This is the garden scene:

If not I will probably keep it as a plot bunny.
