Last year I was pregnant and my thyroid was hypo, but was an easy fix with medicine. Since giving birth, my levels spiked and my t3 has been at/around 26 for 7 months now. It has gone down a few points and will go back up the next month.

I’ve been on methimazole. Went from 10, to 15 to current at 20mg. Propranolol has helped me feel a bit better but I’m getting so discouraged. My endo has made a comment before about how my “case is unique to him” and I’ve been wondering if I should switch drs since.

Is this normal? Numbers taking awhile to go down? I’m new to thyroid issues, please be kind. Meeting with my endocrinologist in a few days, I’d love to ask questions but I’m not even sure what to ask him.
