Did anyone break/injure their tailbone giving birth go on to have a second vaginal birth? Did it happen again?

I’m considering a second and am unsure if I am doomed to have more tailbone injuries. Maybe an elective c section would be better? I was unable to sit in a chair for 3 mos and a year later I still am sore sitting for extended periods.
