Newer gravesites for famous people - eligible or not?
I came by three gravesite Wayspots for famous people that died somewhat recently (less than 50 years ago). I reported the Wayspots for being sensitive locations, based on my understanding of the rules and guidelines regarding gravesites and cemeteries. I was and am under the impression that "the 50 years rule" will always determine a Wayspot's eligibility, so that no matter how significant the deceased person was, if they died less than 50 years ago, the location will automatically be ineligible due to the 'sensitive location' rule (which is more or less "leave the person's loved ones to grieve in peace" by the grave, right?).
I am still missing the decision for one of the grave Wayspots, the other two reports were rejected. I am confused. Is it a new thing that graves less than 50 years old are eligible? Or have I gotten it wrong the whole time?
Note that this is not a debate about whether or not abusive Wayspots should be reported or how much of a horrible person someone is for reporting abusive Wayspots. Feel free to discuss that in other posts (or don't).
