Non-stop doctor visits
I should go to a neurologist, GI, and maybe a dermatologist to look for Small Fiber Neuropathy, but I already am paying off a $500 bill for my echocardiogram to get diagnosed. I recently brought up to my doctor my awful digestive problems and a simple test to look for fucking parasites, celiac, and thyroid problems might be another $500 because of my deductible on a new temporary insurance. I suspect my POTS is caused by something else of course, but how am I supposed to narrow it down without thousands of dollars, I go to the non-private hospital in my city and make a whole $1K over their financial assistance program. More ranting because I’m sure I just get to deal with working with this shit on my own but man is it frustrating.
