This might not sound as a big deal but it’s mildly infuriating..
My mom and I spent about 2 days doing spring cleaning in our backyard. We scraped up and composted all the dead grass and leaves, and finally finished on May 5.
The next day, our neighbour hired a landscaping/yard cleanup crew. While they were using leaf blowers, a lot of the leaves and debris were being blown into our backyard. My mom saw this happening and told them that we had just cleaned our yard and now more leaves were ending up on our side.
One of the workers had bit of a negative tone and said something like, “We’ll clean it up for you after we finish this job.” My mom asked how long it would take, and they said around 30 minutes. Since my mom had to leave for work, she told them the backyard gate would be unlocked so they could go in and clean it later. They agreed.
When we came home later that day, the leaves were still there and nothing had been cleaned up.
What to do in this situation?
Would you talk to the neighbour first, ask for the company name and complain to the company?
