Honestly their way of avoiding their house needs to be studied. I'm exhausted judt by looking at this.
No sunprotection for the baby or S but Dallin can wear his cap and Bella has her sunglasses....how do they NEVER put the kids first? Is it too hard for them?
Also, 2nd photo just for fun. Really captures Bellas relationship with S.
Hi guys, first time posting here. Im not necessarily looking for advice, just want to share my thoughts.
I'm currently on a city sightseeing trip with my 7yo, his baby sister and MIL. We were looking forward to this for weeks. My son is now a 2nd grader and he has changed so much. I knew but the extent of it just kind of shocked me.
For example: his most important topics are money and buying stuff. We have not taught him to be wasteful or that money is important as like showing off. We're more on the other side of the spectrum, lol. I don't know where this is coming from. Instead of being excited about the experience he wanted to know about costs.
We had a lot of fun at the lego discovery center for instance but he made sure several times that he plans on buying stuff.
I know this is partly my fault because i told him he's allowed to choose something later. He has many toys at home, so he's not "starving"
Then we went on a boat tour through the port harbor, which was exciting. He had never been on a ship and has not seen giant ships and container ships ever.
As the guide wasn't speaking so we could take in the view he asked me if he could have my phone to play on. I almost flipped.
(He can play on my phone maybe once a week if at all, has no ipad or anything...)
He had good moments but was whiny and disrespectful most of the trip.
Idk, i spend a lot of money and time on planning, making sure everything will be perfect and the experience for him...is just kinda mid.
I miss the first 6 years of his life. We had such a great bond. We were a team. I loved just being with him, now i need to compose myself several times a day.
He doesn't really listen to me unless i get loud and he knows i mean it. When his dad says something he doesn't even try to argue.
I miss our time. I feel like crying because it feels like i lost a part of him.
Is this happening to other parents as well?
