John Deere E120,

Suddenly won’t start, no clicking noise when you turn the ignition. Tested the battery with a multimeter. Assumed the problem was the starter solenoid which so went and replaced, same issue. Then assumed it was the starter motor. Removed that and tested it directly with the battery. It raises and spins fine.

Put everything back together and still cant get it to click. I can get the engine to turnover with a screwdriver by connecting the two terminals on the new solenoid but it won’t stay running. I’m out of ideas.
