craving some sweet rn

it was my bday on 22nd april and i had a major exam on the 3rd of may so i couldnt rlly celebrate it or even process that it was my birthday. after the exam was over i asked my parents if i could have a bday party and they said that it was already over and that there is no point now, also that there are more "important" things to focus on like college and everything. so i guess that made me really upset and i think almost every single day how my 18th was something i was counting to and i didnt even get a cake or a single present. ive attended all of my friends 18th and it just hurts to see that you will never have those kind of memories.
