I still have a cold so I’ve just been chilling out lol. Used the Birthday as an excuse to have a steak with family lol, that was a nice special treat

It’s 12:48 AM, which means today is officially my 29th birthday.

Honestly, I just feel numb. Don't get me wrong—I’m deeply thankful to God for where I am in life, my health, and my family. But at the same time, I can't shake this quiet heavy feeling. There are so many things I truly believed would have happened for me by this age, and they just haven't. The gap between where I thought I’d be at 29 and where I actually am feels overwhelming tonight.

I have a full day ahead of me, and to be frank, I really don't feel like doing the whole birthday cake routine. I know I’ll smile and blow out the candles in the morning for the happiness of my family, because I love them and want them to enjoy it, but my heart just isn't in it.

I told myself I wanted to buy myself a birthday present—a little gesture to acknowledge the day—but I’m sitting here completely blank. Nothing comes to mind. Nothing feels exciting or desirable right now.

My birthday is today

I came back home after hanging out with my friend around 7pm. My parents are busy watching football didn’t even notice i came home and they didn’t even prepare dinner for me.

They asked me a few days before my birthday what I want to do on my birthday and I said wine party. They were happy with that so I was expecting to see a nice cheese platter either wines and grapes etc. Well I see no dinner no wine no birthday cake

I feel so upset.

It’s my birthday today. I’m feeling quite sad as I have no one to celebrate my birthday.
