We had an applicant recently who checked every box on paper.

Income was solid.

Credit looked fine.

Rental history was clean.

But throughout the application process they kept changing details, missing appointments and taking days to respond.

Nothing serious enough to deny them outright, but enough to make me wonder what they'd be like after move-in.

Do you ever trust your experience over the paperwork, or do you stick strictly to your screening criteria?

I recently switched to MillD High Protein Atta because I wanted to increase my protein intake without changing my meals too much.

The nutrition looks great but the first couple of times my rotis came out much drier than usual. I made the dough exactly how I always do with regular atta.

Now I cant figure out if I messed up, got a bad batch or if high protein atta just needs a different method.

Anyone else experienced this?

I'm trying to clean up our workflow, and this keeps coming up.

A maintenance request starts with a tenant email. Then I text the contractor because it's faster. The contractor calls me instead of replying. The tenant follows up by text asking for an update. Then I email the owner once it's done.

A month later, if someone asks what happened, I have to dig through four different places just to reconstruct the timeline.

I'm curious if most people have accepted this as part of the job, or if you've found a way to centralize these conversations without making everyone's life harder.
