Hi everyone, I’m planning to switch from Android (Samsung) to iPhone for the first time and I’m a bit stuck on what to choose. Options right now are: iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro Max, or iPhone 17.

For context, I’ve been a Samsung user for years, and my current phone is still working fine it’s just running out of storage, only 64GB . That’s one of the main reasons I want to upgrade. I’m thinking of keeping my Samsung as a backup or using it mainly for school-related stuff.

The main reason I want an iPhone is for the camera and overall long-term use. I want something that will last me for several years since this will be my first iPhone.

My plan for now is Samsung = for school/study used then iPhone = for personal use, camera, and possibly work

I’m not really familiar with iOS yet, so I’m also curious:

-Which of these models would be best for someone switching from Android?

-Is the Pro Max worth it for the camera and features, or is it overkill?

-Is the iPhone 17 a better long-term choice since it’s newer?

-How big is the difference in camera between these models in real-life use?

-What other things do you use your iPhone for (work, productivity, etc.)? can suggest

I'm more leaning to 16 plus and 17 cause they got diff. colours, the colours or 16pm forme is too neutral.

I’d really appreciate any advice, especially from people who switched from Android or use their phones for both school and personal/work stuff.

Thanks in advance
