They’re all coming now

I don’t know all the types. Planted a lot of roses last year, and they are starting to come in! Can’t believe such abundance already in mid May in zone 8B

Hit the IDGAF stage of aging

46/f. Single, no kids. I am happily sitting in the hot tub in the backyard of the house I own, surrounded by an ungodly amount of plants and flowers. My soul dog is on the grass happily chewing his treat. Hanging lanterns and the first flush of this season’s rose blooms surround me. I spent the day with my senior parents and am so lucky they are both still with us, despite my dad’s progressing dementia. Now I’m smoking a joint listening to an eclectic mix pumping bangers from Paul Simon to Nirvana to the Stones to Dr Dre, and letting the hot tub jets blast my fucked up back. Can’t all be perfect at our age. But it’s fucking chill man. Lovin life.

Zone 8b. Mme Alfred Carrier. Planted last September and has taken off! Beautiful scent and it’s so nice to have an early bloomer!

First picture is February of last year. Second picture is August of last year while I was in tret purge. And the last picture is now. I started to take skin care seriously last year, introduced Rx Azelaic Acid and tretinoin, which I then updated to Taz partway through the year. Nailed down my skin care regimen (actives and exfoliation with a focus on Korean skincare), continued with occasional Botox, and introduced additional treatments like microneedling and clear and brilliant laser. I also had one treatment of Radiesse.
