I am knitting a cuff of a sweater using dpn’s for the first time. I am doing a 1x1 rib, starting the round with a knit stitch and finishing with a purl stitch.

My last stitch to my first stitch looks..weird? I can’t tell if I’ve gone wrong with my technique, if it’s a laddering issue or something else.

Hopefully the pictures are clear enough to show what the issue is and the pictures are with my stitches at the beginning of round.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
