To the lady who's dog bit me yesterday

This happened a blockish from Burnaby hospital. (For reference.)

Dear lady,

I'm sorry your dog was so stressed. I clearly didn't read the signs well. I'm not mad at you or your dog at all. I'm also ok. Just some small punctures, no tearing. It was super clear your dog was just scared and not being aggressive. I hope your small friend is able to get some desensitisation training. I'll even help if you like. Poor little fella shouldn't have to go through life with all that fear. I hope you're both ok.

And that delights me for some reason?

I made some pants overnight. I decided to wear them home. I'm sure to everyone else they look like normal boring pants.

But they're *fresh* in a way most of them can only dream about.

It please me greatly.

Pattern from.. Geez it was probably Burda once upon a time? I overhauled it to be what I wanted without all the extra maths.

It was a ¾ length jersey Capri pant originally I think. I wanted more of an Asian mom vibe? This pair is Lycra jersey. I honestly just raided my fabric stash. These pants were part of the cosplay cloth section. I got rid of the flappy Capri bit and just put an elastic in. They can tuck under the knee or go down if my legs are cold.

I also doubled the pocket depth.

I own like six pairs of this pant in various colours now.
