So my current laptop has decided to brick itself, and I am looking to get a new one.
I have had some problems with this computer in the past, specifically that they trackpad would stop working and I would have to reboot into bios, then fully boot to get it to start working again. Yesterday the same problem occurred again, but this time, it decided it would break completely. It will not boot, and keeps telling me that the default boot device is missing.
I am looking to get something similar, and could use a little help deciding what to look at.
I never really had a problem with the fans getting to loud for my taste, but it did get pretty hot sometimes, unless I propped it up to expose the vents more.
My max price is around $2200 (USD), but other than that I don’t have many preferences. I just don’t want to downgrade from what I already have. 16” is probably the max size, because I have to carry it to classes, but I really like the 14” that I have.
Should I get another Lenovo, Legion or otherwise, or branch out. I have a friend who got an MSI Vector 16X before prices climbed, and they like it.
What would you recommend?
