Asked AI to remove everything from the counter tops to get a real feel of the space. There are two ways to enter the space and the door at the very back just leads to the basement, so not a true egress. We are looking to add some sort of kitchen island, but also with seating space for a family of 4 to have dinner together. Additionally, we want to put wallpaper on the walls to warm up the space that leans into the style of the vintage-y tile. The entire kitchen will eventually be remodeled, so please do not suggest anything that would change the cabinets at this time. We just want to make it look nice and functional for the time being.

Also adding in the colors/design of the other adjoining rooms as we are looking for cohesiveness in the whole house.

What would you suggest for wallpaper styles and a functional island?

I just moved and I have no idea how to correctly hang curtains in this room. The windows are off center on the wall where the bed is. There is a closet that juts out along the right wall, so the rod cannot move any further over to the right. What do I do? It just feels off.
