Do you have kids? How do you swing around them?

Hi everyone, I am wondering is swinging something that tends to continue or just be fairly difficult after kids?

The Great Debate: Travel/party/fun before kids, or in retirement?

My father had me at 27, after retirement he started traveling every month, visiting everywhere there is to see.

However straight out of university I wanted to do this before settling into a career. I am 37 now and considering kids but only because I feel like kids are the final boss of life.

Big moves happen fast, don't try to catch it manually.

I want to give you all just one tip.

If you are trading market orders as prices move and you just opened the chart (like occasionally looking at it) - only go for the opposite direction, only mean reverting.

By the time you are looking at the chart, it has already done its move 80% of the time. I know its hard because you believe prices will keep going, but they most likely wont.

If you want to place trades - stop orders, then go for breakouts a distance away from where you are now.

Prices actually move up and down 50%/50%, but the big moves happen quickly, you won't see them unless glued to your screen which you don't want to do.

So, if you do happen to look at the screen, its unlikely prices are going to continue - hence trade back into the range.

If you are not looking at the screen, let the pending/stop orders catch price when it makes a big move.
