Pitting or cracks?

Winchester 1400 Ranger 12ga. So from the 60s or 70s. Its a friends gun I am borrowing and figured it needed a clean. After cleaning I can see these. Normal pitting or bad news/don't shoot anymore? This gun has been shot 10 times probably in the last year. Was gonna use it for a friendly work related sporting clays day this week.

2nd Gen owners....regret buying 3rd Gen?

I have a 2012 Rock Warrior with 255k miles. This truck has done me right. Lots of forest service road miles in MT.....lots of highway miles all over the western US. Great fucking truck, but it's showing a lot of age cosmetically and I need a better back seat for hopefully having a kid soon. If I wasn't in sales and the looks of my truck weren't so important I would keep it forever. Occasionally I have to drive clients around etc. I need a fresh truck.

6.5' bed is a non negotiable for me. I haul lumber, elk, etc etc. Not an urban grocery getter. Looks like not many 3rd Gen tundras with 6.5' beds out there.

Coming from 5.7L do you miss the raw power? Can the new turbo V6s compare?
