Did I make a huge mistake with “removing” this d*mn skin tag?
Location: lower eyelid approx 4mm wide and protruding approx 3mm from lid. Okay, so I’m without insurance right now. I’ve removed other skin tags in other locations like this. I got sick of looking at it so I did what I normally do which is tie it off with floss and tape over it so I don’t accidentally snag or somehow mess it up while it dies. Then AFTERWARDS… I googled it and freaked myself out about all the potential damage. I removed the tape but couldn’t get the floss off so I reapplied the tape and of course, ran to reddit. The tying method I use is a very tight layer at the base followed by a knot, wrap it to the bottom and tie tight, wrap it to the top and tie off so it is really ON THERE. Am I cooked and if so…how utterly cooked am I? Tyia
