Got an awesome job offer back into my field of expertise. Being I’ve been out of it since 22 I haven’t needed, nor due to the nature of this job would require a DOT test, but it does as of May 1.

They want to bump my start date from June 15 to June 10 where I’m gonna need the DOT the week of the 1st.

Just want some outside opinions beyond my wife and myself. You see negative as well right?

Edit: thank you all for confirming what I knew in my head. This new job is huge for me and a much needed break from chaotic life. We’ve been ok but not really comfortable. I just didn’t want to jump in too soon.
