I can’t talk to anyone about this IRL except my boyfriend and I don’t want him to know the money aspect. So I’m coming here with some exciting news that I’ve just got to talk about!
Long story short; I interviewed for a mid level management position and two days later saw a senior level management position available, messaged the recruiter, she told me to apply and we would touch base after my interview to see what the panel had to say.
Well, I received an email and they’re impressed and had me complete and online assessment for the senior level management position.
The thing is, I’ve been planning on starting my own business regardless. I’ve been creating my materials, business plan, researching, etc. All of the tools I’ve already created can be beneficial in this position so I’ve already set myself up for success and put myself above my competition.
This would be a $45k pay increase if I get this role. LIFE CHANGING! I grew up in poverty. This will literally change my families lives. I can do so much good with this kind of money. My non profit can come to fruition. I’ll still be able to start my own business, it will just be postponed and will give me more time to hone my craft. I can actually save money and help my daughter have a solid foundation as she enters the next chapter of her life.
I just have this feeling that it’s already mine. I can feel it in my bones. I get giddy thinking about it, a huge smile on my face each time lol I just know.
And the cool thing is, even if I’m wrong and it’s not, I’m still going to start my own business and I know that soon enough I will still be able to make that life changing money for me and my family.
