(22 M) Trying to get into the union! How do I prepare for the test?

The union nearest to me is Local 62, I heard there is going to be a test in 2 and a half weeks. I got no experience in this field but it’s something I’ve been wanting to do but I want to prepare for this test the right way.

What is going to be on the test? So I can be ready I talked to this one guy he told me that a lot of the stuff that are online isn’t even going to be on the test. But anyone can guide me in the right direction?

Ghosted by my agency after reporting a toxic site lead who fires people for "standing up" to his jokes. Advice?

I’m a low voltage tech working through a staffing agency. I recently got laid off from a large warehouse project, and I need advice because my agency has completely stopped answering my calls and texts.

The site lead on the project was a nightmare. He constantly "joked" about firing the temp crew or just making homophobic jokes. Two weeks ago, one of my coworkers finally stood up to him and told him he needed to respect the workers more and stop with the threats. The lead fired him on the spot just for saying that.

A few days later, the lead told four of us we were all fired, then claimed he was "just kidding" when I asked for clarification. Then, as I was walking to my car, he called me back and fired me for real.

The lead was also inappropriately touchy with male workers on site yea I get it that’s how most construction sites are but it’s just created an overall unprofessional and weird vibe.

I have tried calling and texting my recruiter at the agency to report this behavior and discuss my layoff, but they are completely ghosting me. They won't answer any of my messages. If my recruiter is ghosting me, is there someone higher up at a big agency I should contact (like HR or a branch manager)?
