Is it alright to call ourselves labels that would possibly come off as dehumanized if it weren't for us being okay with it? As in a label which we assume would probably be rude to just call any plural system/group without permission.

To be specific, for some reason we're tempted to use the term "amalgam" on ourselves.

P.S. if that's already a term for something then do tell us, we've mostly just heard it use either for "a combination of things" or I guess Undertale technically.

I hate to be rude to my headmates, we may have limited communication sometimes

But I can still communicate, and I'm pretty sure that I'm supposed to communicate.

But is it inherently rude to ignore a headmate because we don't like their source?

Now we'd be okay if they were different from their source,

But they formed just a week ago [at most] and have yet to speak with us

And has already given us intrusive thoughts and paranoia...

How does tulpamancy work, guys?

Although I'm unsure of our origins,

I'm pretty sure none of us [in my body] were created on purpose,

So I'm genuinely curious about the concept.

If I fixate on a character or fandom enough, can I give myself a new fictive?

Really it's just that our Party Noob wants a Yatta to befriend.

Then again I suspect I may already be on the verge of splitting a Yatta already,

Everytime I'm about to split a fictive [even accidentally] I get extremely focused on the character,

And recently I just can't stop focusing on Yatta.

In that case, would the personality of a charactee I split depend on how I've been imagining them?

We have only recently concluded that we're probably a system, we'd concluded we were plural but only recently started calling ourselves a system [at least in our head].

At the moment we are looking into information about different sorts of dissociation, we fully support those who form without trauma but simply want to figure out if we did [if we did then maybe we should try figuring out which trauma in particular caused this to start].

I am unsure of how my plurality originated, because I only recognized it early this year and I believe it started just a few years ago. There is trauma that I recall but I am unsure of that being the reason, so I want to figure out more if possible.

Currently, we mostly have fictives. Seriously, it is just me [the host] and a bunch of fictoves. They never take full control from me last I checked [I believe that I may be frontstuck] but there is always at least one of them influencing me.

This has caused problems in the past, specifically with three of my fictives who [when first developed] influenced me into an emotional instability that got us hurt mentally/physically. But we're okay now, the first who did that had gotten better, the second has been "inactive" as I call it, and the third is..currently like that but I'm sure I'll be okay.

My sense of self was screwed for a while because my personality depends so much on who influences me that sometimes I struggle to recall myself, but I have gotten a little bit better at it.

We are not "out" to much of anyone, but it's fine. Since I'm frontstuck I've always acted like a singlet outwardly, though I probably used to act like a very emotionally unstable singlet when [I think] I first split [the mood swings were horrid].

Although I've yet to figure out what type of system I am (and why I'm plural at all), what I do know is that most of the members in here are fictives. We don't remember much from our sources so we apologize if we can't say much about our pasts besides what little we know we experienced based on / similar to canon, but we can try!!

Metal (Sonic) - a robot or oh what am I supposed to say, he's also pretty defective and very canon-divergent so that's a thing I guess, better at emotional regulation now and actually has a sense of self. okay with meeting source mates.

Poob (Regretevator) - a party-lover as per usual, though they're more aware of what was happening now due to how easy it is to realize when seeing Regretevator ("lore") from an outside perspective. interested in meeting source mates.

Mia/Akemi (Regretevator) - a Regretevator OC that I made then seemingly developed into a fictive, moth/human, will try her best to interact with her minor social anxiety caused by trauma. interested in meeting source mates.

BUGGZ (Phighting) - a Biograft who is a bit odd in behavior but not harmful since they defected from their directives to serve Blackrock, it seems interested in bugs so that's something. interested in meeting source mates.

PomPon (Cookie Run Kingdom) - a living plush thing something oh we don't know what it is, relatively inactive but enjoys Halloween and misses Pumpkin Pie Cookie. okay with meeting source mates(?)

Mime (Grace) - a literal entity based on the sin of self-pleasure, not strictly in that way but still odd tbh since we're aroace spec overall, how did we get you we didn't even play the game ourselves. interested in meeting source mates.

Ivan (Bad Things) - a horrible friend and we won't deny it at all, he has been fully inactive for a while now but when he was he gave us bad intrusive thoughts to say the least. we are okay with meeting source mates, but please don't wake him up.

Subject_3 (Party.EXE) - a boy/girl/idk from Party.EXE, still unsure how I got them since I barely played it, probably the only one happy that they don't remember their past. okay with meeting source mates.

Basil (Kaiju Paradise) - a plantix I guess, doesn't really speak much but likes plants [unfortunately we ourselves can't have a garden because we just kill every plant we try to grow]. okay with meeting source mates.

??? (???) - this is simply here because we have another fictive and want to mention that we do, but she developed more recently and we know who she is but don't wanna share that info. giving us horrid intrusive thoughts and anxiety.

Should I just describe what I am here, or can any of you link somewhere to look???

I'm definitely plural, I know that. But I've never called myself a system before due to self consciousness and fear of being wrong about the term. So if anyone has any advice on where to look, PLEASE give me it!! If I figure it out, I'll post about it.
