That came fast...and with some surprises...

This was my first time ordering (and using) Hobonichi and I went through a fair share of back and forth on my decision. From whether the small grid will work for me (I stuck some sample pages in my current journal to try out) to the size A5 vs A6 to whether HON or not and ofcourse the cover. Doesn't help to not have a physical store here to check out all of this in person. Finally made up my mind and the illustrated CoC went out of stock to be restocked on 30th Sep and then on 29th, the freebies went out of stock, which really annoyed me. But somehow I still went ahead with my order on the 30th and I also had a vague intuition that if I order within Sep perhaps there might be some chance of getting the exclusive freebies still.

The order reached today, very pleasantly surprised with how painless and quick it was. And I just opened it to find the freebies inside! Yay! It is a birthday present to me from myself so that makes it even sweeter!

First thoughts, the weeks is so light and compact. And the cousin seems larger than I expected. I know sizes are mentioned upfront but its another thing to see these physically. Those stencils are also way smaller than I thought they would be but i guess they are made to work in an A6 so makes sense.

Must do stores when in Japan (Kyoto and Tokyo)?

Apart from Itoya and Loft, what else would be must visit stationery stores in Japan in Kyoto and Tokyo specifically? I am looking for unique to Japan suggestions like flagship stores that do not exist outside of Japan (or maybe US) or a store selling exclusive to Japan products. Something on those lines.
