WIBTA for Towing Cars Without Proper Sticker?
I live in apartment complex that requires a sticker on your windshield in order to park in the back lot. Lately I've been getting off of my shifts and cannot find parking at all in that back lot. As I'm driving through, I am routinely seeing 10-20 cars that lack proper stickers. I have already talked to the front office about this, but they said that with moving happening so recently (a month ago) and folks having visitors (office doesn't have any temporary visitor passes) they won't actually enforce the stickering. And "since it's such a big lot they've never had this issue before".
I don't want to tow anyone, especially because I know it can be expensive, but there is a front lot that doesn't require stickering, it's just a bit further away. I know I could go park there (and I have) but I do pay to live here and since I usually get off of work late (12pm-3am) I would prefer not to walk alone in the dark.
I'm just wondering if next time I'm off late and there's no parking in the back lot would I be an asshole to call the towing company to start removing the cars without the proper sticker?
