Optimisation? What's That?
Hello, Friends!
We all know that some ships are designed for exploration - the DBX, Asp Explorer, Mandalay, and Caspian - while others may not be specifically designed for exploration, but are excellent options regardless - the Anaconda, Python, and Cobra V.
But what about ships that are not explorers and which probably have no business being out in the Black?
Personally, I've enjoyed flying the Type-11 Prospector. I've always loved the industrial aesthetic, and found that it can reach some respectable jump ranges with a bit of engineering. The footprint isn't much larger than a Krait Phantom, either., and there's something appealing about the idea of being thousands of lightyears away from civilisation in a flying tractor.
So now I am curious about your thoughts... what is the "least optimal" ship you've ever taken on a long voyage (or want to but haven't)? Why did you pick it? Was it for aesthetics, roleplay, or some other reason?
