

Which UI layout is better - Side panels or Bottom? Need your opinion
Hey everyone,
We're developing Torchure is a grimdark pixel-art action roguelite with top-down view set in a harsh, unequal world.
Right now we're testing different HUD layouts and would love your honest feedback.
Here are two options:
- UI at the bottom (easier to have health and info in focus)
- UI on the sides (gives more gameplay space)
Which one do you prefer and why?
- Which feels more comfortable during intense fights?
- Which obstructs the view less?
- Which just looks better overall?
Especially interested in opinions from people who play roguelites / action games / souls-likes.
