Did I take too much Syrian Rue?

I've made a tea with 3g of Syrian Rue to try it alone before adding Mimosa.

During the first hour I was feeling relaxed and in a deep meditative state, but after that I started feeling stimulated/anxious/panicked, I couldn't get up from bed, my head was spinning, I had visual and auditory hallucinations that lasted for hours with a sense of doom as well as negative/suicidal racing thoughts, the front of my head felt very stimulated, I couldn't move from my bed. I tried to put some music but it felt as if it was sped up.

I took propranolol and xanax but it didn't help at all, I had to wait 8 hours for physical symptoms to improve and 24 hours for the anxiety to fully subside.

Maybe a lower dose is enough in my case? Should I try 1g of Syrian Rue with 1g of Mimosa first?

What is the best way to make Mimosa tea?

My wife and I are planning to take Syrian Rue Seeds with Mimosa Hostilis Root Bark.

I was thinking about boiling the Syrian Rue first three times in a row for 30 minutes, same with the Mimosa Hostilis. Is it enough, especially for the Mimosa?

We will then consume the Syrian Rue tea first, wait 1 hour then consume the Mimosa Hostilis tea.

Why some people get good results from SSRIs?

I've been biohacking and peating for years. I had incredible results during the first two years then my state worsened.

I felt wired all the time which screwed my digestion and sleep which makes it worse, supplements and diet didn't matter, I started having side effects from all B Vitamins.

Thyroid hormones worked for a month and a half then I started feeling flat and having existential depression. Pregnenolone/DHEA stopped working after a few weeks. R5P worked but gave me irritability and increased inner tension. Methylcobalamin reduces the inner tension/anxiety but makes me feel flat/depressed.

I also tried psychedelics therapy, it works very well but the benefits doesn't last more than a week.

Serotonin antagonists like Cyproheptadine, Ketotifen, Mirtazapine, Olanzapine helps a little bit but I still feel anxious/depressed from it.

That's when I decided to try low dose SSRIs (I tried Sertraline at 25mg then switched to Vortioxetine 5mg), I couldn't tolerate the first few weeks as it was making my anxiety and racing thoughts worse, but could tolerate them with Cyproheptadine or low dose Olanzapine, after two weeks I felt like a switch turned on similar to what happens after taking a high dose of psychedelics. And suddenly I was able to tolerate most B vitamins, thyroid hormones, my digestion and ability to feel relaxed improved, I was finally able to take a nap, the constant ruminations, anxiety and inner tension stopped.

Since I'm not a big fan of SSRIs, I ended up switching to a herb called Albizia Julibrissin which also inhibits SERT but in a non competitive manner and had pretty much the same results, Polygala Tenuifolia also worked pretty well but didn't like the noradrenergic effect that it comes with. They also both exacerbated anxiety during the first two weeks like SSRIs.

The question is : Why? Why did it work when everything else didn't? I became more sociable, started having a positive outlook on life. I'm feeling less anxious/depressed and I also noticed that I can take B vitamins and thyroid hormones again without the side effects.
