"path is taken by an item currently installed" problem
Hi
I am having an issue with the Epic Games Launcher and cannot play or install any games.
Out of nowhere, my installed games stopped launching, and I couldn't install any new games.
Whenever I tried to install a game, it gave me this error: "path is taken by an item currently installed."
I uninstalled and reinstalled the Epic Games Launcher. After reinstalling, the launcher still showed the games as installed, but I could neither launch, uninstall, nor manage them in any way.
I then installed an older version of the launcher. The games no longer appear as installed, but whenever I try to install any game, I still get the exact same "path is taken by an item currently installed." error no matter what I do or which folder I select.
Has anyone encountered this before, how can I completely clear these installations and fix this issue?
