Hey guys, I'm a rising sophomore right now and am just emailing to professors to try to get research positions in their labs but it isn't working at all. I've sent out around 12 emails and haven't heard anything back, not even a no. Is this normal? If there has been anyone else who landed research through cold emailing do you have any tips? Even if you guys don't have any tips let me know how many emails you sent before you got a position for some hope. Thank you guys!
