I'm working on whiskers for my "medieval dragon". These are nylon rope, usually used for beads, that I straightened with a heat gun. Maybe they are too thick? Or too long? I'm worried about poking someone.
Has anyone added whiskers to their suits and got experience?
For my medieval dragon nun partial I wanted a tail that's not too big and swinging naturally. :3 It's based on Foofers' dragon tail tutorial. I used wood plates I had as left overs from a woodcutting class for the plates and glued them onto leather. At the base there's also thermoplastic pieces, since I trust them to be more sturdy than wood.
It already has foam attached by now and next task is adding a "spiky" tail tip and green fabric as skin. I hope I can show the finished thing in a few weeks.
