Now let's talk about the ''lake that hold a cutting from the peach tree''

I believe this lake is the pacific standard ocean which shares the same name with this bank, and the cutting from the peach tree is the sunken ufo. Let me explain.

Part 6: Textile city mural.

Many of you have seen the ''sinners mural''

It has text around it that reads:

I think this is referencing dr. Friedlander (michaels therapist) and the psychiatric evaluation he writes at the end of the game based on your actions.

Why do i think this is related to maze bank?

So i believe that we must achieve a ''perfect report'' first to be able to solve it. This isn't actually that hard to do.

Part 7: deciphering the purple mural.

The keyhole should be pretty obvious.

Rotating maze. Some have interpreted this as rotating maze bank, but i think it's telling us that we have to use it like a safe dial by shooting the lights

I believe that The greek letter PSI and the yingyang symbol could be referencing chapters of the epsilon tract (PSI and CHI)

The brain and the PSI could also be pointing toward friedlander.

The staircase tells us that this is a 3 part mystery.

part 1 = get perfect report

part 2 = get order of the lights using the epsilon tract

part 3 = shoot the lights.

the eye could just be saying that we have to LOOK for clues

The phrenology head i believe is saying that we have to keep the epsilon tract in mind, but i wont get into that here.

Lighting/electricity symbol = maze bank is located on power street.

Scales can be found in the FIB logo which is related to one of the keyholes.

That will be it for now. What do you think? I truly believe this is the best ''solution'' for the purple mural since i haven't really seen any other ones.

One of the reasons i made this is because some have said that rockstar will reveak the mysteries when 6 comes out, so if they do i wanna see if i was right even if i don't end up solving it.

I believe i know how to solve the mystery related to maze bank and the purple mural.

I have been trying for a few months now, but something is still missing so im putting my theory out here. (you're welcome to critique and let me know if you have better theories)

Part 1: The lights

To cut it short, i believe this mystery has to do with these 8 WHITE helipad lights on top of maze bank tower. (an idea i got from u/dewdropgoat)

I believe, that to solve the secret you need to shoot these 8 lights in a certain order.

Why? I believe there are 8 locations around los santos that we need to find. each of these locations from some angle resemble a keyhole, which is one of the main symbols of this mystery.

Each of these locations also lines up with one of the white helipad lights on maze bank (if you were to draw a straight line from them)

I believe i have MOST of these locations, but im not sure about some of them

You can test these yourself. simply point a sniper at one of the lights so that it lines up, then open the map and draw a line from the arrow (keyhole marked with POI)

Part 3: Getting the order

So once we have all 8 locations, how do we get the order? I have 3 theories for this.

#1 The key theory

A while ago someone suggested that each keyhole might have a key. A key being a tall structure nearby the keyhole.

A good example of this, is the morningwood keyhole and the tower next to it

My idea for this, is if each keyhole were to have a structure next to it, we could write down the times that the keyhole is overshadowed, and then shoot the lights out in that order.

The problem is, that most keyholes don't have a ''key'' that overshadows them, so ill leave that here.

#2 The epsilon theory.

This is my favourite one. We should decipher the epsilon tract and note down what metaphor stands for what keyhole. Then note down in what order the metaphors are mentioned in the tract and shoot the lights out accordingly.

#3 The number theory

This is probably the most likely one. Some keyholes appear to have a number nearby also visible from a birdseye view.

Im sure you can figure it out from there.

Part 4: Why the lights?

There are quite a few details pointing toward the maze bank lights.

Near maze bank there is another tower called the Arcadius business center

It has a very similar helipad structure, with the only difference being that there are no 8 helipad lights, only 4 red ones.

If you watch the in game TV show fame or shame you can see a very interesting detail.

Part 5: The spider

Something ive always found quite curious is the maze bank spider which you can see from a street

Why depict maze bank as a spider?

Because once we find all 8 keyholes we have the web. That's why the tattoo spider is shaped like an 8.

This is all backed up by the RDR2 mystery where there are 8 spiderwebs that all connect into one in the middle

I have done some investigating and i haven't been able to find ANY links between this and other in game ''clues''.

So my best idea, is that this was some sort of heist they were planning, but it ended up being cut. And i have found a very interesting parallel.

In gtao, there is this mission where we raid an IAA facility that is hidden in the maintenance tunnels. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gp7ba8JhV5M&t=228s The entrance even lines up with point D on the map.

This map has been in the game since day 1, and unlike the doomsday murals, i think it's entirely possible that it was hinting at cut content possibly reimagined through that online mission released in 2020

So this led me to think there might be some sort of way to make this oil ''gusher'' happen in game. The best i could come up with is maybe we have to use the stock market? Sadly you can't invest in globe oil which appears to run the fields

So i believe that the epsilon tract is referencing locations on the map through metaphors. It keeps mentioning ''the peach tree and the apple tree'' and this is probably referencing the fib and iaa towers. just too much lines up. (watch this video explaining it better than i can https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hb1_NAtMkME&t=7s ) However, one thing that i found strange is when the tract mentions that "both trees speak" and it tells us to ''hear them to understand''

This never made any sense to me, but i just had an idea. In the mission ''eye in the sky'' we fly around in a lspd helicopter tracking down the z - type car. In this mission we for seemingly no reason have the ability to listen to npcs.

Is the tract telling us to fly near the towers and use the listening feature? I think so. Gonna try this tomorrow.

It has 8 sides just like the weazel tower.

When you fly high up enough the top texture disapears and reveals a bright light.

The bullet collision is normal.

Light turns on at 19:00 and progressively turns brighter.

It lines up perfectly with this light on maze bank

There are 5 keyholes so far that have been found. All of them line up with the lights on maze bank.

So i was looking around fort zancudo cause someone mentioned that the soldiers have weird badges, and then i found this.

Now you'll notice that in this painting there is an eagle flying above a rook chess piece among other things and this is the reason i brought this up. I noticed in the Los Santos university logo we can see something very similar. The tower on the seal looks very much like a rook. i also noticed how theres a weird rope looking think below the tower, that resembles a chess board. anyways i jsut randomly noticed this and decided to share. what do you think?
