I need ways to appear more masculine while still closeted
I haven't come out to anyone except really close friends who are also trans, which is very few. If I were out I would be going by he/him pronouns and identify as a man. I need tips on how to appear more masculine while still being in the closet. I live with my parents and they don't let me cut my hair higher than shoulder length so hair isn't really an option for me. I can't get a binder (or at least find a good excuse to have one) and I'm stumped on ways to make my chest smaller or less obvious when I'm wearing a shirt without a hoodie or something else to help cover. I'm allowed to get boxers but I always need an excuse to have them and I'm worried my parents will get suspicious if I keep asking for them. I don't think they're transphobic since my whole life they have always been inclusive of others and told me not to judge people for being gay, but there's never been a discussion on trans people and their child being trans is different from a random person they can ignore.
One of my main issues with my body are my hips, I barely am under overweight for my height (5'3 at 140 lbs) and I really only tend to gain weight in my hips and thighs. If anyone has tips on how to make them less obvious I would be really grateful! They haven't really gotten smaller even though I have dropped 15 lbs. If anyone has tips I would be very happy and thankful!
