One third of the way through (33/100 endings), here's my thoughts
For context, here's the routes I've completed (in order):
Cult of Takumi, Conspiracy, Rebellion, 2nd Scenario, Reset, Goodbye Eito, Coming of Age, V'ehxness, Slasher SK, Serial Battles, and Slasher Z. I've also gotten ending 33 from Box of Calamity (my current route).
For starters, the characters. I genuinely love this cast. Kako is my favorite, so I'm really looking forward to seeing her get to shine in whatever this 'Mystery' route is (I heard of it when I looked up story locks after running into story lock 1) using her skills as an aspiring detective. Gaku is my least favorite character, which I've heard is not an unpopular opinion.
Overall, I've enjoyed the game, but some routes (Conspiracy, Serial Battles, and Slasher Z) just suck, with Slasher Z being the most disappointing of them all. >!When Takumi died I expected to either get an immediate bad ending or actually get to play as a zombie for a while, but no, they just HAD to rush it and give us a sloppy middle-ground, despite it making no sense why G'ie would wait that long to infect him.!< Like, it really feels like, with Slasher, they wanted to make 4 endings but were forced to slap on another 4 that they just didn't put any effort into.
But enough negativity, I want to praise this game for how good it is when it is good. 2nd Scenario might just be the best ending I've ever seen for a game. Like, I legit couldn't touch the game for the rest of the day because I didn't want to go to sleep thinking of anything else. V'ehxness, Coming of Age, Reset, and Rebellion are also pretty good (though I wish the latter 2 were longer).
