I know it’s a predator that carves its masks to match the expressions its prey wore, but I feel they could really capitalize on the Shararook's behavior to create a character with a distinct personality one who enjoys telling stories that unsettle others with their disturbing nature, just to get a good laugh out of their reactions.
To be honest, the effects they provide are decente nothing spectacular though I haven't actually been able to test any of them since I hardly ever die. It wouldn't be so bad, except they are very expensive to acquire, and the gacha system doesn't guarantee you'll get the one you want. On the bright side, they delayed the new character's release, giving us a chance to farm more gravestones in the meantime; I hope the next update allows us to unlock them by leveling up perhaps by sacrificing a few palette gacha pulls and adds them to the daily shop so there's at least a slim chance of getting the one you're after.
It’s genuinely going to hurt if Akanthos never makes it into the game, but this sort of makes up for it.
Even though they're going to run it with a cat, I feel like it's fine; I would have preferred it not to have legs at all, but I suppose that's asking too much.
Here’s one instance (literally from the match I just finished) I was destroying the last infestation at the back of the map because the teams I get matched with love making the run to the exit really difficult when the timer started. To my horror, a charged storm kicked in right then, so I had to dodge while running. The problem was, I didn't know how to dodge a charged storm while moving especially with Leon, who is already slow to begin with. On top of that, I was carrying two purple flasks for the upcoming boss fight. And just to make it even more annoying, my team decided to lead all the Corrupted Ridden right to the exit with them (though I didn't mind too much, since they were all panicking and dodging the charged storm too). To top it all off, I didn't even die because of any of that; I died because I ran out of stamina just inches away from the exit. But hey, a teammate turned on their mic and played sad music for a laugh, so I got over my anger pretty quickly.
Advice is welcome.
