So! I am 22F and I’ve been taking cymbalta (at 60MG currently) for around 2 years now for OCD.
I’ve pretty much had a good experience with the medication thus far! There have been a few times where my doctor hasn’t refilled my prescription on time and my withdrawals are pretty bad. While on the drug however, I’ve loved it.
Recently though, I’ve been having really bad brain zaps throughout the day, cold sweats during the night, and hot flashes. It almost feels like I am going through a withdrawal? It’s bizarre!
With this change, I feel worried that the medication may just not be working for me anymore. I’m in a much better position mentally than I was in the past and am considering weening off.
What would you do? Have you experienced anything like this?
