Did anyone else go through a phase during there tattoo where the tattoo felt a little unresolved or awkward mid-process? I’m in the outline/early shading stage of a dragon sleeve and I’ve noticed my perception of the flow changes a lot as more gets completed.

Curious if others experienced the same thing and whether the final background/shading changed how the piece read overall.”
