Found out partner is addicted to opiates
I’ll try to keep it short. we’ve been together almost 7 years, he has hip pain and back pain.. which could 100% be helped but would take some time and effort. His whole family is basically addicted to T4’s , percs, whatever. he provides for our family.. is such a thoughtful partner and the most amazing father, truly. I looked at his phone because i had an inkling he was maybe getting some pain killers off family, but instead found multiple texts back and forth from dealers. Basically he’s been taking them the entire time we’ve been together and I had no idea. I literally just had our third baby.. how can I be supportive while upholding boundaries to keep my kids put first? he said he’s gone a month or two without them on and off but always started taking them again. apparently he takes around 10-14 a day. any advice would be appreciated, I’m at a loss.
