Week 16 for the Vanguard Legion doesnt look like much growth since last week. My tarheel ants outworld has finally arrived Ill leave a time-lapse of it in the comments.

I can definitely see some growth this week. Ive added a fresh test tube because they had chewed through the sponge of the old one.

Iam waiting for the THA forging area to arrive its been almost 2 weeks hopefully it ships soon. Anyone know the lead time on these.

Week 13 and it kinda feels like growth has slowed or I dont really see a huge difference. Iam using two test tubes now just so they have extra acess to water if they want. The top tube you can see they have torn into the sponge so Iam gonna have to replace it soon.

The Dawnfire Nation

They are starting to finnaly ramp up we will see if they catch up to my Tetramorium Immigrans. They definitely get spooked more then the Tetramorium. Iam also feeding 3 mealworms a day now.

Week 10 + 1 day late

One mealworm daily is no longer enough. Iam now doing multiple mealworms and seeds. Iam now using a plastic container as an outworld to feed them.

Also I feel the video doesnt do the colonys size justice. You cant really see how much brood there really is plus quite a few workers in the outworld.

Camponotus Floridanus worker acting very strange and sickly. Has been in the same spot for a day not really moving though she was dead at first. It is smaller then some of the others so maybe its a nanatic at the end of its life.

Week 7 for my Solenopsis Invicta colony I found this queen on the pavement minutes before a bad thunderstorm

Surprisingly not as progressed as my Tetramorium Immigrans at week 7 I think its because she was a little more stressed and I originally had her in a tube with cotton instead of sponge which got moldy quick. Meanwhile the Tetra was using the sponge to maximize brood.

Ive decided Iam gonna do weekly updates also gonna start doing updates on my Solenopsis Invicta and Camponotus Floridanus.

Exactly at 7 weeks with 16+ workers. For the first few weeks I kept them at 75°F then slowly worked them up to 80°F. Ive been feeding just freshly killed mealworms but plan to try fruitflys soon. I also give them sunburst ant nectar and just recently attached a sugar water tube to the tube portal.
