My first Longines
I'll be honest, I never paid any attention to Longines watches until I stumbled upon a picture of this one online. My first thought was that it was incredibly beautiful, more beautiful than many of the watches I own. It has a resemblance to a Rolex Cellini, but with a sportier, pilot-style edge. I saved the picture and tried to find more information about it, but surprisingly, there was very little information available, and few people knew about it. Then, recently, like a godsend, I saw it in a second-hand shop in beautiful condition. I didn't hesitate to buy it immediately, and I'm incredibly happy with my first Longines watch. It's truly stunning. All I know now is the serial number L2.699.4, but don't ask me anything more than that.
