Hydroconquest vs Hydroconquest GMT?

So, right now you can get the Hydroconquest GMT on gray for about $130 more than the new Hydroconquest on Jomashop. (Retail is $3,350) Would there be any reason to choose the regular Hydroconquest over the GMT? I will list some pros and cons of each.

Hydroconquest pros: thin, clean dial, 39mm case available

Cons: no on the fly adjustment

Hydroconquest GMT pros: GMT function, on the fly adjustment (this is big one)

Cons: thicker than HC, only available in bigger sizes (41/43mm), not a huge fan of the orange accents

I have a 7.5” wrist so I think either works for me but what do you guys think?

Edit: Sorry, the new HC also has OTF adjustment.

HC Actual Pricing

Evening All,

Thinking about the blue bezel and mesh. Is the above a reasonable price and also what are people paying for the rubber strap with deployment, if available?

YET anither size question

Good day, everyone.

I am currently evaluating the new HydroConquest and am seeking guidance regarding its optimal size. My authorized dealer presently has the 42mm model in stock. I would appreciate your professional opinion on whether this size is appropriate or if I should await the availability of the 39mm variant.

Feel like superman!

My first Longines! I was lucky enough to get this incredible release in Mexico City!

Hydroconquest 39mm on integrated moonswatch rubber strap

What do you think? Does the blue dial black rubber strap work?

I really wish Longines offered a fitted rubber strap with end links for the HydroConquest. I know some people have adapted Conquest straps, but it doesn’t seem to be an option for the 39mm due to the 20mm lug width.

For now, for all of £9, I think this actually looks alright.

Another HC39 post!

I've been looking to pick this up for the past few weeks, out of curiosity I went to my local Macy's and in my luck they had the 39 in blue! I was able to get a 10% discount so it came out to about tax free.

I really wanted to see the cookie monster variant but that's apparently backordered for a few months.

Based on my short time with this piece, I can say it punches far above its weight class, rivaling it's contemporaries in the 3 to 5k range.

I was looking for a GADA watch that I wouldn't feel too guilty banging around, and I think this is it. I was initially going to get a BB58 in blue but I just recently acquired a Tudor Sub so was drawn to this. Very happy with my decision, can't wait to wear it out!

Size opinions?

Just got my new Hydroconquest. All around I love it! Only question is if I should have gone with the 39mm. This is the 42. I am a big guy so always thought I could pull off some bigger dial sizes. What do you think?

Which website is best for bye bye ?

I'm not looking for trouble, I just need advice. The blue color of the new HC isn't for me, and I realized that after wearing it a few times over three weeks. So I'm looking for a website.

Any love for the previous HydroConquest generation?

39mm black dial.

Honestly never cared much for it in product shots, but in person this thing completely changed my mind. Still one of the most beautiful and distinctive divers Longines has made in my opinion.

Hydroconquest first impressions

I needed a new “beach watch” . . . Decided my Rolex yachtmaster II @ 44MM was too big . . . So ordered this 39mm hydroconquest in blue. Completely blown away with fitament, finishing and color. I have Rolex, Vacheron and Cartier, principally . . . It’s not my Overseas 4520V in blue but i have not really taken it off in days. Tremendous value at this price point or at 2x the price point. Better looking (IMHO) than my subs !

Gray sailcloth strap works really well with blue HC in my opinion

Plays well with blue dial and steel case, great sporty look for the summer. Bigggg fan of this product release. I'm also on laptops a lot for work and bump my watch into a lot of things so this helps avoid too many scratches in the original bracelet.

Is it worth upgrading to a Longines Spirit from a Hamilton KFA?

This specific one. The green dial with the leather strap. Dimensions on jomashop reads 40mm case size and i think google said the lug to lug is nearly 50mm which is kind of crazy lol. I have the 42mm Black KFA and its basically as big as I want to go for a field watch. Doesn’t overhang on the lugs really but its pushing it. I imagine they will wear rather similarly. But what im wondering is if this would be worth purchasing without the bracelet? I dont wear my KFA with the bracelet ever really, but it is of much higher quality compared to my other watches. But it doesnt really matter to me if im not gonna even wear it lol. Will this watch be a noticeable change in quality without the bracelet? $1300 on jomashop. I love the color and the black hamilton could serve as my everyday or workplace beater. What you all think?

Still loving it!

OK, so I only got this watch in the beginning of April but every time I put it on, I fall in love with it again! Whether it’s on the bracelet, sailcloth, or leather, I just love the look of it!

Still Obsessed 🥶

Longines really did something special with this watch in the 39mm size.

I own many watches and this one has been stealing the majority of the wrist time.

Thoughts on the navy blue dial and bezel?

I personally feel it’s so versatile, changes shades of blue depending on the lighting!

If you have been thinking about it….. just do it…. This is your sign lol 😂
