I’d like your opinion. 39 or 42?

I’d like your opinion. 39 or 42?

Hi, I’ll be getting the Zulu Time GMT soon. I’m trying to decide on the size. I’m XL guy with thick wrists, so the 42mm doesn’t seem too big on me but I feel like the 39mm seems more elegant (look wise). What are your thoughts? Up is 42, down is 39.

I’d love to see the new HydroConquest in these colors

The pictures are AI-edited, and I know I’m stepping a bit into Tudor territory here. Still, I prefer Longines’ hands, overall design, and pricing. Do you think we’ll ever see something like this from Longines in the future?

Underrated Beauty

Finally pulled the trigger on my first Longines; it was between this or the Cookie Monster Spirit Zulu Time (I really wanted a GMT for work travel) or a grey Hydroconquest. After putting this on my wrist it was absolutely no question what choice I had to make. It’s wild that these S&Gs aren’t more commonly talked about; and I was very surprised that I actually didn’t care for the HC in person, as every other watch I have is a diver. I do think I want to grab a bracelet for it though to dress it down on occasion.

Anyway, 10/10 highly recommend the SZT S&G; it’s even more beautiful in person, and the quality of the finishing is superb.

The search is finally over!

I’ve been shopping around for my next big purchase for over a year with several top choices from many big brands and came very close to pulling the trigger on some of them.. until I saw this gorgeous new Longines release! It’s everything I was looking for in one package. Goes to show that patience is a virtue when watch collecting, and now I can finally relax 😆.

The dial is the kind you have to see in person to believe. I’m lucky to have a Longines boutique near me and they had it in stock. If you have the chance to try it on in person you should for sure.

Thoughts on this fit?

I picked up a 42mm Legend Diver bronze and wonder if it’s a good fit for me. Does this look like an appropriate fit size wise?

Could this be?

The only watch collection you’d need? Spirit Pilot 39 the Grand Seiko SBGX261? I find myself constantly keeping these 2 in rotation more so than any divers or field watches I own. What are y’all’s thoughts?

My First Longines watch

Just got super lucky and found this 2026 Longines Hydroconquest with the green dial and bezel in Houston and I think it may have been the last one too . I just love the beautiful green dial in the light !

Just Brushed bracelet Central links from contemporary 38 mm aqua terra and put it on 36mm first gen.

So noticed folks got excited about brushing the central link on new generation planet ocean. Decide to try it myself. A wile ago got my hands on estate package deal with few well worn bracelets. Among them this 20mm CTS rubber with deployment. But more importantly, pretty scratched, especially those shiny central links , look like 2018 38 MM AT. So just took it to local watchmaker to Brush all surfaces uniformly and polish sides. I cant believe it fit my original 36mm quartz AT!
So, which one look better : original one with sliding clasp, or new one with the butterfly and brushed for GADA standard..

Perfect for one watch collection

I have been wanting a watch for quiet some time - just one that could go with anything. A few weeks ago i saw the 39 mm Legened Diver, in blue, and thought that this could be it.

My only concern was if it was too big, but when i went to try it it was perfect.

If you are on the verge of getting it - go give it a try. 😊

My first luxury watch

Probably the best I own in terms of price/quality ratio.

I owe this watch a lot because it got me into the hobby and made me collect other beautiful watches, but this started it all.

Just big or too big? 42mm Spirit

I got this Spirit on a good deal from eBay (£750, full kit). I normally aim for 40mm but the price was very good so I wanted to give it a try for 42mm. I think it’s just at the top of my usable range. I still prefer 40mm but does this look just big or too big?
