Did anyone (female) recover after the 1-year mark?
I’ve been dealing with tightness/discomfort in the left side of the vaginal area since mid July, when a huge anxiety flare-up gave me a habit of clenching on that side. In other words, it’s been around 10 months. I’ve tried many types of stretches (hypopressives seem to help some; I’ve just started trying to do internal release with a finger but it’s making me feel sore so far).
Some days are better than others.
In the fall I had 2 months of external PT, mostly yoga poses, but was discharged still pretty symptomatic after she said she’s “taught me all she could”.
Anyway, I‘m feeling sad and if anyone here managed to recover from hypertonic pelvic floor issues *after* the 1-year mark or even 2-year mark, I want to hear from you. I need hope that it’s actually possible.
