AI circlejerk

I'm not against using AI/LLm if it makes sense, and it has at times made my job easier/faster. What I don't like is how it's currently being prescribed. Rather as a solution to a potential existing problem, it's a solution looking for a problem where to be applied. I feel pressure to put the square AI into a round hole, in a way. Message from management isn't "solve this client's issue", it's "where can we use AI?" To me that's backwards thinking.... Even if they say "the client wants AI" apparently nobody can tell us how the client envisions the AI to work or what they're trying to do (I suspect the answer is 'save money by replacing humans with ai')

How do I deal with this without being left behind or being considered a luddite

Please help me fix my life

I've got no friends. When I work my ass off to make a friend i instantly do soething stupid to push them away. It's almost on purpose, but not. Like obviously I don't want to push them away.. but I feel paranoid, feel they're going to hurt me etc so I have a public meltdown and get them to hate me, then I feel almost relieved because I proved to msyelf that they didn't really want to be my friend.

I get that anything can go wrong to a person once or twice. And I get that just because you ran a failed company doesn't mean it was only your fault. However, isn't it kind of weird that CTO/CEO/head of department person who was in 2 different failed startups before and messed everything up seems to easily get a job in a 3rd one and proceed to mess everything up too? Is it because these guys work with connections and have 0 vetting? Even then shouldn't some questions be asked when you have a pattern of being high up in companies that went bankrupt to make sure you weren't pissing money away?

If you're in a flatshare where both people are on the contract, does RRB mean either person can just terminate the tenancy whenever? Does that mean that if your flatmates keep leaving after 2 months you'll also have to move out, or do you get the opportunity to find a replacement (and assuming you have to pay the whole rent until that happens)
