Never have I ever imagined I lived to see the day...
Preface: I stopped playing and uninstalled around the time Caleb became an LI. Before that I was already inactive, logging in a few times in a month.
My intial interest and curiosity with LADS has to do with watching it's cultural impact. Even though I got tired of the gameplay. For once, there's a game made for women we can be proud of.
I used be quite an active participant in the main sub back then and even after quiting the game, it occasionally pops up in my feed. When the whole drama with Velcro happened and I got looped into observing things from the sidelines. So, LADS content was back in my feed again and I must say, I'm feeling a serious case of secondhand embarrassment at seeing grown-ass women going this hard for a non-existent man!
Like...Where is this kind of energy for the things that actually matter? Like when our reproductive rights were threatened or something? Or when there's a real case of social injustice that needs protesting?
The lengths those Vinyl stans are going through for a FICTIONAL person needs to be studied. What a time to be alive.

How it started... How it's going
Since some of you are doing this, here's my getaway Fufu and where I am now. I got hkm exactly this time last year and it started my obsession. He now has a brother and 9 sisters. It's been quite the journey.
No, I'm not done. I'm not a completionist, but there's exactly 11 more on my wishlist to adopt. I'm scouring the resellers market for them. Then, I may be done...until pop mart puts out something out that I must have.

The increase of fake karma-farming posts for attention
There seems to be a few of them popping up every day, the kind of posts with pretty pictures showing large collections by 1-2 month old accounts. I remember we once had those AI bot posts and then they disappear, now replaced by these fake attention grabbing, karma-farming posts that people keep falling far. Just run a reverse image search and you'll find the photos they post aren't theirs.
ETA: Dear mods, please do something about this.
