Applying for my parents GC and my mom is currently in US on a TN visa. I am a US citizen by birth. We are debating if she should first resign and come on tourist visa (Canadian passport)?? How long after applying for gc can they travel outside country? My dad is on TD visa. Want to make sure we do this correctly so any guidance greatly appreciated

I mistakenly added spouse as companion instead of authorized user. I needed her to have the lounge access. If i remove her now, how long before i can readd her as an authorized user to get the 20K points offer or is it done forever? did i cause a problem? is there any smarter/better way to do this?
